Singapore Grand Prix

The Singapore Grand Prix is a highly anticipated event on the Formula 1 calendar. The race first took place in 2008 and has been held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore ever since. This circuit is known for being a challenging and unique street circuit that is held at night, making it one of the most visually stunning races on the calendar. Known for its thrilling night races and is popular among fans for its unique atmosphere and entertainment options and is known for its unpredictable outcomes due to the demanding nature of the circuit and the heat and humidity of the Singaporean climate. The thrilling finish of the race in 2010, the closest ending in the Singapore Grand Prix, saw Alonso (Ferrari), Vettel, and Webber battling for victory. Ultimately, it was Fernando Alonso with the Ferrari team who emerged victorious. The Marina Bay Circuit is one of the most physically demanding on the calendar, its bumpy street surface coupled with humid conditions giving the drivers plenty to think about. Even after a 2023 layout change reducing the number of corners from 23 to 19.
